What our guests are saying
I highly recommend The New Soul Veg if you are in the Atlanta area! The food is delectable and the sense of community palpable. I loved the corn bread, candied yams, and the bean curd stew. The employees are eager to greet the patrons and patrons are eager to strike conversations with each other. The space is well cared for and so is the food!

Y’all, everyone here was so nice and the food was delicious! We did the pay by the pound so we could try a sampling of different items, including their homemade protein, which was excellent. Even the tartar sauce for the fried “fish” sticks was delicious. It’s all wonderfully filling too so I have a meal for later. The vibe was great too. I’d love to check out the open mic night sometime on a Saturday night. Alas, we’re not local, but plan to come by next time we’re in ATL.

I've never cared much for soul food restaurants as most are heavy, greasy, or bland. Not this place. The best item on the menu is the fried mushrooms which are lite and fresh and meaty. The potato salad is surprisingly stand out and the corn bread is tip top. It's hard to believe it's vegan and yet, it wouldn't matter because it's just delicious.
